    A1—18 to 28 centimeters (7.1 to 11.0 inches); light yellowish brown (10YR 6/4) silty clay loam; weak platy, and weak subangular blocky structure; 33 percent coarse distinct yellowish brown (10YR 5/6), moist, masses of oxidized iron and 33 percent coarse distinct light brownish gray (2.5Y 6/2), moist, masses of reduced iron; fragments; clear wavy boundary. Lab sample # OSU0004559. dry colors - pale brown 10YR6/3 mottled with yellowish brown 10YR5/6 and white 2.5Y8/2; consistence hard when dry, some worm holes present that are filled with Ap material and worm castings.
