C1—84 to 94 centimeters (33.1 to 37.0 inches); dark brown (7.5YR 3/2) Error; massive, and subangular blocky; fragments; slight effervescence. Lab sample # OSU0006283. Breaks into fine angular blocky structure.
C2—107 to 119 centimeters (42.1 to 46.9 inches); brown (7.5YR 4/2) Error; massive, and angular blocky; fragments; slight effervescence. Lab sample # OSU0006284
C3—155 to 170 centimeters (61.0 to 66.9 inches); brown (7.5YR 4/2) Error; fragments. Lab sample # OSU0006285. Could not go deeper with bucket auger because soil too dry and hard.
