    Ap—0 to 15 centimeters (0.0 to 5.9 inches); brown (10YR 4/3), pale brown (10YR 6/3), dry; Error; weak subangular blocky structure; friable; fragments; slightly acid, pH 6.2; abrupt smooth boundary. Lab sample # OSU0009991. A weak, fine to medium, platy structure was observed in the top 2 inches. The Ap was very dry. It appeared cemented in place - almost like a fragipan. Upon wetting it became friable.
