C1—65 to 97 centimeters (25.6 to 38.2 inches); olive (5Y 5/3) Error; massive; firm; dark yellowish brown (10YR 4/4), moist, masses of oxidized iron and 11 percent fine faint yellowish brown (10YR 5/6), moist, masses of oxidized iron; fragments. Lab sample # OSU0010748. apparently glacial till; calcareous. The limestone fragments horizons C1 and C2 are oriented with their long axis in a horizontal direction in much the same position as the limestone layers occur in the undisturbed bedrock.

Lab sample # OSU0010749. Contains many flat Ordovician flags ranging in size from 2-12? across horizontally; bedrock solid from 1-2 feet below sample depth; calcareous.
