Ap—0 to 19 centimeters (0.0 to 7.5 inches); dark grayish brown (10YR 4/2) Error; weak fine platy, and granular structure; friable; fragments; neutral, pH 7.0; abrupt smooth boundary. Lab sample # OSU0013092
B1—19 to 30 centimeters (7.5 to 11.8 inches); yellowish brown (10YR 5/4) Error; moderate fine and medium subangular blocky structure; firm; fragments; slightly acid, pH 6.3; abrupt smooth boundary. Lab sample # OSU0013093
B2—30 to 39 centimeters (11.8 to 15.4 inches); brown (10YR 4/3) Error; weak prismatic, and moderate subangular blocky structure; very firm; light yellowish brown (2.5Y 6/4), moist, masses of oxidized iron; fragments; abrupt smooth boundary. Lab sample # OSU0013094. A thin 1/4? discontinuous layer of limestone occurs at the 15 1/2? depth.
39 to 55 centimeters (15.4 to 21.7 inches); olive (5Y 5/3) Error; strong coarse subangular blocky structure; 1 percent fine distinct yellowish brown (10YR 5/6), moist, masses of oxidized iron and 33 percent fine distinct pale yellow (5Y 7/3), moist, masses of reduced iron; fragments. Lab sample # OSU0013095. N 6/ gray mottles also recorded; thin discontinuous strata of limestone occur in this layer. One of these, about 1/4? thick, was at the top of the layer. The other stratum about 1/2? thick, was within the layer. This was fractured and weathered.

Lab sample # OSU0013096. structure becoming weaker and peds larger with depth.
76 to 89 centimeters (29.9 to 35.0 inches); massive; fragments. not sampled, unweathered, shale and limestone.
