Ap—0 to 23 centimeters (0.0 to 9.1 inches); very dark brown (10YR 2/2), dark grayish brown (10YR 4/2), dry; silt loam; moderate fine granular, and moderate medium granular structure; slightly hard, very friable, slightly sticky, slightly plastic; fragments; clear wavy boundary. Lab sample # NDSU1529, NDSU1530. The Bw1 has thin organic stains along prism faces in upper 4 inches. The 19-32" horizon was completly omitted from the 232. The BK, BCK, and Cr are all moderately alkaline. The Cr horizon is fine sandy loam (sands tone).
