    Ap—0 to 20 centimeters (0.0 to 7.9 inches); very dark brown (10YR 2/2), dark grayish brown (10YR 4/2), dry; silt loam; moderate fine granular, and moderate medium granular structure; soft, very friable, slightly plastic; ; fragments; abrupt smooth boundary.
