Lab sample # 84P01108. Few coarse roots. About 45% irregular limestone gravel.; many very fine and fine roots; common medium roots
Ap2—12 to 22 centimeters (4.7 to 8.7 inches); very gravelly clay loam; fragments. Lab sample # 84P01109. Identical to Ap1 except for a decrease in medium and coarse roots. Separated for sampling purposes.
C1—22 to 32 centimeters (8.7 to 12.6 inches); yellowish red (5YR 5/6) interior very gravelly clay loam; weak very fine granular structure; loose, very friable, slightly sticky, slightly plastic; fragments; abrupt wavy boundary. Lab sample # 84P01110. About 50% limestone gravel mostly fine. Horizon occcurs as a pocket 15 cm across in the surface of the limestone.
R—32 to 57 centimeters (12.6 to 22.4 inches); unknown texture; fragments. Lab sample # 84P01111. White soft porous coralline limestone. Surface can be chipped with difficulty.
