O—8 to 0 centimeters (3.1 to 0.0 inches); very dark grayish brown (10YR 3/2) peat; slightly sticky, slightly plastic; fragments; abrupt smooth boundary.; wet when described;. Groundwater at 33cm. Soils were sampled for laboratory analysis in 15cm increments. Coarse fragments from 1-5%. Soil is saline. KCI extractable iron tests wereperformed on 0-15 and 45-60cm increments. Both tested negative. It was classified as a sandy-skeletal, mixed frigid Typic Haplaquoll. I have no evidence to support sandy skeletal. I have changed it to Fine loamy.
