    A1—0 to 8 centimeters (0.0 to 3.1 inches); brown (10YR 5/3), light gray (10YR 7/2), dry; fine sandy loam; weak medium platy parts to very fine granular structure; soft, very friable; fragments; noneffervescent; abrupt smooth boundary. Lab sample # 40A24483
    B2t—8 to 17 centimeters (3.1 to 6.7 inches); brown (10YR 4/3), brown (10YR 5/3), dry; clay loam; moderate coarse columnar parts to moderate medium angular blocky structure; extremely hard, very firm; fragments; noneffervescent; abrupt smooth boundary.
