Lab sample # 40A23770. There are numerous rock fragments scattered throughout the profile. There are abundant worm casts and roots.

Lab sample # 40A23773. There are occasional roots down the rock faces and the rock is a grayish brown (2.5Y 5/2) with fine yellowish brown (10YR 5/6-5/8) iron spots.
CR—91 to 91 centimeters (35.8 to 35.8 inches); light olive brown (2.5Y 5/4); fragments. Lab sample # 40A23774. Light olive brown, coarsely angular, slightly weathered fragments of silty Purisima sandstone or shale and some loosened soil material. Many feet thick.
