    A11—0 to 20 centimeters (0.0 to 7.9 inches); very dark grayish brown (10YR 3/2) and very dark gray (10YR 3/1), very dark brown (10YR 2/2) and black (10YR 2/1), moist; silt loam; moderate fine and medium subangular blocky structure; hard when dry, friable, very sticky, slightly plastic; 21 percent worm casts; fragments; slightly acid, pH 6.4, unspecified; clear smooth boundary. Lab sample # 40A23770. There are numerous rock fragments scattered throughout the profile. There are abundant worm casts and roots.
