This plot is located in the Franics Marion National Forest, and it is off Hoodstown Road about 1.7 miles northeast of Macedonia Church (on Highway 17A). Road leading from Hoodstown Road to the plot is known as Brunsons Motorway. Santee River lies to the north of the plot; to the west, Lake Moultrie (Ref. Bonneau quad. 1:62,500).
