B25T—0 to 0 centimeters (0.0 to 0.0 inches); dark red (2.5YR 3/6) and red (2.5YR 4/6) sandy clay; weak medium subangular blocky structure; hard when dry, friable, slightly sticky, slightly plastic; fragments; strong effervescence. Lab sample # 40A09634
AP—0 to 28 centimeters (0.0 to 11.0 inches); dark reddish brown (5YR 3/3) sand; single grain; loose, nonsticky, nonplastic; 21.0 fine roots; fragments; slightly acid, pH 6.3, unspecified; clear smooth boundary. Lab sample # 40A09627
A12—28 to 43 centimeters (11.0 to 16.9 inches); dark reddish brown (5YR 3/4) sand; single grain; loose, nonsticky, nonplastic; 3.0 fine roots; fragments; slightly acid, pH 6.3, unspecified; gradual smooth boundary. Lab sample # 40A09628
A13—43 to 66 centimeters (16.9 to 26.0 inches); dark reddish brown (5YR 3/4) sand; single grain; loose, nonsticky, nonplastic; 3.0 fine roots; fragments; slightly acid, pH 6.3, unspecified; clear wavy boundary. Lab sample # 40A09629. This horizon varies from 4 to 14 inch in thickness and is thickest where upper boundary of B2t is concave. In these places it has lamellae about 2-6 cm. apart and 5 mm thick. Lamellae are wavy and have same color and texture of B2t below.
B21T—66 to 92 centimeters (26.0 to 36.2 inches); dark reddish brown (2.5YR 3/4) sandy loam; single grain; hard when dry, friable, nonsticky, nonplastic; 0.5 fine roots; fragments; neutral, pH 7.0, unspecified; gradual wavy boundary. Lab sample # 40A09630. This horizon is continuous through 80 percent of pedon, ranging from 0 to 11 inches thick.
B22T—92 to 124 centimeters (36.2 to 48.8 inches); dark red (2.5YR 3/6) sandy loam; massive; hard when dry, friable, slightly sticky, nonplastic; 0.5 fine roots; fragments; neutral, pH 7.0, unspecified; gradual wavy boundary. Lab sample # 40A09631. This horizon is 8 to 20 inches thick. Where the upper boundary is in contact with the A13 horizon, the boundary is abrupt and wavy. There are isolated pockets of material similar to the B21t within the B22t, B23t, and B24t. Dimensions of the pockets range from 5x8 inches to 20x8 inches. They occupy about 10 percent of the 3 horizon and might be a result of disturbances.
B23T—124 to 163 centimeters (48.8 to 64.2 inches); dark red (2.5YR 3/6) and red (2.5YR 4/6) sandy loam; massive; hard when dry, friable, slightly sticky, nonplastic; 0.1 fine roots; fragments; neutral, pH 7.0, unspecified; gradual wavy boundary. Lab sample # 40A09632
B24T—163 to 195 centimeters (64.2 to 76.8 inches); dark red (2.5YR 3/6) and red (2.5YR 4/6) sandy clay; weak medium subangular blocky structure; hard when dry, friable, slightly sticky, slightly plastic; fragments; strong effervescence. Lab sample # 40A09633
