The secondary structure is platy, 10-20 mm thick which parts under pressure to abk (dominantly) and sbk. Plates and peds are 20-40 mm wide and 10 mm deep. There are few patchy (10YR 3/3) cutans on plates, along with (10YR 3/1) Fe-Mn accumulations on horizontal faces of plates. some plates are oriented at different angles to the horizontal. No roots are along secondary structure faces. Clay films are not calcareous.
