    A—0 to 8 centimeters (0.0 to 3.1 inches); light olive brown (2.5Y 5/4), olive brown (2.5Y 4/4), moist; clay; moderate medium subangular blocky parts to strong fine granular structure; soft, very friable, moderately sticky, moderately plastic; 3.0 very fine roots and 0.5 fine roots; 21.0 fine vesicular pores; fragments; slightly alkaline, pH 7.8, hellige-truog; clear smooth boundary. Lab sample # 92P02702. Half to three-quarter inch wide cracks.
