    A1—0 to 14 centimeters (0.0 to 5.5 inches); dark brown (7.5YR 3/2) Error; weak fine granular structure; fragments; abrupt irregular boundary. Lab sample # OSU0013082. Lower boundary is irregular with the dark brown surface material extending as tongues into the lighter colored subsurface material; no noticeable accumulation of clay in the tongues and no difference in structure was apparent.
    C11—14 to 102 centimeters (5.5 to 40.2 inches); brown (10YR 4/3) Error; very friable; fragments. Lab sample # OSU0013083
    C11—102 to 107 centimeters (40.2 to 42.1 inches); brown (10YR 4/3) Error; fragments. Lab sample # OSU0013083. Concretions of sand that appeared to be cemented with calcite, up to 1/2 inch in diameter, irregular in shape and could be easily crushed between the fingers.
